The Microsoft Office suite is the most widely used set of office products in the world.  Our courses train you to successfully utilize each product to its fullest to meet your needs.

 

  • Access
  • Students will learn the basic skills necessary to begin using Access. They will design and create databases, tables, queries, forms, and reports.  Specific Access knowledge requirements can be accommodated within the skill level of the student.  Intermediate and advanced students learn more about database design and manipulation.  Students expand their knowledge of how to extract information through Queries, Reports and Pivot table forms.

  • Excel
  • Students will learn basic worksheets skills and advanced techniques for working with data in worksheets.  Advanced students will learn various advanced techniques for analyzing and manipulating data in Excel.

  • Internet
  • This course explores the many worlds of the Internet and focuses on the World-Wide Web as the major journey. Skills that are mastered include basic screen elements, searching skills, history lists, favorites, downloading files, copying and saving files and pictures from the web to your computer. A beginner should feel comfortable and ready to “surf the web” after this fun and interesting class. 

  • Outlook
  • Students will learn Learn how to easily take advantage of Microsoft's time and schedule management tools: Calendar, Email, Contacts and more. Advanced students learn tips and tricks to automate contact and email management chores.
  • PowerPoint
  • Students will learn the basic skills necessary to begin effectively creating presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.  Advanced students learn how to make their presentations "come alive" and how to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons.

  • Windows
  • Students will learn Students learn the basics about managing their own desktops, folders and files. Learn how to cut and paste between documents and how to create shortcuts. Practice how to move and find files and create, save, and rename folders and files.
  • Word
  • Students will learn the basic skills necessary to begin using Word.  Intermediate and advanced students will learn the necessary skills create professional looking brochures and flyers, or how to build and manage large documents.
